We knew this was going to be a good run when we were treated to a gorgous sunrise. We all met at the Shell station in Toutle, there were 3 club rigs - Marty, Mike, Annell and Myself, 4 guess rigs - Greg, Scott, Ron and Jay. Marty and Greg headed out to the log stagging yard to off load there rigs from trailers and the rest of us followed up after everyone had fueled up, from the the yard we headed out the 4100 rd and made our way up and out to around 1500 ft were we started to pickup the snow, we continued on out to an area called 5 forks and headed out the the 3100 rd with the snow getting better and better. Along the way there a couple minor issues, a broke shock mount (thanks to Ron and his welding skills), a fuel filter issue that plagued one rig most of the day. these moments of down time led to some good photo shots (pics coming). We finally stopped around 4300 ft for lunch and while playing around we had a rig that sprung a leak in the radiator (it shortened the day but not the sprits), 3 of the guess rigs struck out after lunch and made there way up around to Castle Peak. We escorted the leaky rig back down the Mountain to call it an early day but nonetheless a wonderful day of wheeling.
Thanks to everyone that showed up and all enjoyed the run........
